First, I started with Mohini. From there, I found that in the Mahabharata, Mohini appears in the form of Vishnu in order to take back the pot of Amrita from the asuras. Then from there, I found that remedies against leprosy can be found in plants that asuris have projected their powers into. Lastly from there, I found that leprosy is primarily a disease of the peripheral nervous system.
That is really cool! I am super interested in how the body works as well as diseases and how they can disrupt our normal state of being. This is a pretty neat trail and I am sure it was filled with all sorts of interesting things to learn about! I don't think I ever knew that leprosy was connected to the peripheral nervous system. I thought it was some sort of skin disease. Super cool info!
